"G-Google- OSD"

On the subject of googling everything, I once googled my employers email address. I quickly wished I hadn't did that.  I found out that he was in a shit boat load of trouble. Money laundering, bilking investors out of money, not paying taxes, fraud all of those glorious things that left me searching for another job.

  1. I google my name way too much. I google my friends names. I google "my name + needs a..." for some pretty funny auto-fill-in-the-blanks.

    Examples:

    Rena needs a...
...forever home. (Is someone trying to give me up?)
    ...help! (so true.)
...a share in Katy, TX. (I guess I could use a share anywhere.)
...greater appreciation of Nancy and Charley's efforts to succeed as parents. (Is anyone else wigged by the specificity of this one?)

  7. My husband loves to debate everything and so when he's up against a problem, the first place he turns to is google. It drives the rest of us crazy!

  9. Oh Yeah....Google is First on my TaskBar. I once looked it up in my 1961 Websters Dictionary...got it for grad gift and was my 'GoTo DictBk' until PC. In 1961 there was no such word...not even slang. I was clueless about what Google meant...I'm still not sure, but whatever works. Good luck with the walk across the country...at least you have Google to Go!

  10. I google things I hear and see in my dreams. When I have time, I tell you all about one of those dreams. IT WAS CREEPY information.

  11. I knew it was bad when Google became a verb. To make matters worse, I just Googled "Google as a verb!" LOL - It's a transitive verb, btw. They are taking over for sure!

  12. I am a searcher. I saw something a few days ago that Democrats and Republicans search for things different. I don't understand that, but OK.
I was wondering about stops for breaks and sleep too.

  14. Holy cow about the employer!

I have search issues, too. Have you ever checked out Swagbucks? I've made a fortune in Amazon gift certificates from all my searching through them.
