  1. I get wrapped up in my gaming but not enough to forget to eat.
I usually just cut down portion size and that does it for me.

  4. I am going through the diet roller coaster for the first time in my life (I am 38) and I am so hating it. I have read a few of those fad diets but have decided on the sweat my butt off diet (I have a sauna suit from walmart) Isn't all that great and since I hate sweating and being sticky I don't think I will be on it long. Good luck. I am pulling for you. I might try the coffee diet you spoke of but only because I love it so much :)

  5. Holy crap.
    What's wrong with people?
I remember gaming extensively but we always had plenty of snacks available.

  8. Diets are EVIL! I always struggle with my weight - - my success comes when I change my eating habits and EXERCISE! ugh.

  9. I think the only diet I have ever tried is the wonderful coffee diet! I'm trying to avoid diets in favor of healthy eating.

  11. I am having a particularly hard time losing weight this year. Typically I gain an extra few pounds in the winter and I lose it in the spring. This year I gained more than a few pounds and they aren't coming off easy. Grrr!

  13. This sleeping diet must be against the law or something? That's just insane! I do love baby food though, it's yummy. When my sis was a baby, and my brother too, I used to eat some of theirs, I know I'm a bad sister :P

  14. The only mega diet I ever went on was the Atkins diet. I lost a ton of weight and slimmed up, as well, but I know it wasn't very good for me. The HcG diet freaks me out, considering all the ill effects I have suffered from my hormone treatments and IVF. Yeah, I sort of had to take HcG. I wouldn't do it by choice.

  15. One thing for sure...you have checked out the DietFads and have convinced me and several others I see according to your comments...Don't Go There! Thanks for that info...altho, I'm not much of a Dieter...Lucky to have HighEngergy Metabolism. I do have to watch for MSG and other preservatives...allergies and gluten intolerant. Oh the Food Woes!

  16. Ha! That's the kind of diet that will lose you friends and influence, isn't it? I'd say skip to the chocolate cake and relax. I don't think chocolate produces gas, just joyful bubbles.

  17. Wow. Those sound like some pretty far out diet. Although the "Sleeping Beauty" Diet sounds amazing. Not for the weight loss, but simply because you can sleep for days without waking up. Very interesting!

  18. first thing... love the name of your blog. second thing... food choices ALWAYS work better then diets. (plus you can survive it better) Third thing... that soup diet, fart soup diet, it does not sound fun....

  20. Fart soup LOL I did the Cabbabe Diet once and that was really bad! The best was the Atkins diet as I virtually stopped all passing of air. Just couldn't sustain it ... and anyway, isn't farting normal?!

  21. I like the sleeping diet. I just can't sleep during the day when I'm the hungriest. I wonder if I'd be hungry in the wee hours of the morn?

  22. Thanks for all the comments on the subject of Holiday Pounds and those crazy fad and yo yo diets. I long for the days of the speedy metabolism. The soup diet is the cabbage soup, and while yummy and pretty nutritious, should come with a warning (if you know what I mean) I have learned so much from the blog Eat, Live and Move check it out, if you have time
