"U- Under the Influence"

  1. I used to have a bar job... very much a ringside seat! Didn't put me off drinking, only I prefer to quaff in the dignity of my own home :-)

  2. I used to work in a bar, it would always amaze me how different people are when they are drunk, like they've had a personality transplant or something :)

  4. Wow, I work in a convenience store now but we don't have anything like that! That's crazy! At least it makes for an entertaining work day.

  5. I've heard it said that when people drink, their real personality comes out. Makes you think.

  6. That's gross if you ask me.
I've never drank alcohol and noone in my family has either (it's forbidden in my religion and not even sold where I live). I don't see what good comes out of it: so many families broken and innocent people murdered because of someone who had too much alcohol.

  11. Loved this post. I would have been the ding ding ding girl in that story lol! I used to work at 7-11 many years ago and remember those type of scenes all too well. Entertaining sometimes. Other times, you scratch your head and wonder WTH people are thinking to get that stupid in public.

  12. LOL! Sounds like an entertaining job. I worked fast food and the same people would come through the drive thru on their way home.

  13. This is a great story! It's a good thing the policeman was there, or you may have had to carry her out of there! Julie

  14. Thanks for the comments on this posting and I find that under the influence and over the influence are one and the same. Looking at it, it never looked attractive. To the sober it makes for funny little stories. Just with dealing with the daily monotony of others it just turned me off to drinking.
