  1. I used to go to the gym. Now I work out at home.

  2. I always work up sweat at the gym.
I notice the ones who only do about five minutes worth of exercise in an hour because they are too busy looking at their muscles in the mirror.

  3. I cannot work out in a gym - - I guess I have this phobia that everyone is watching me and I get all weird about that. But, I DID, however, years ago, go to a gym that Richard Simmons owned and it was just for women and it was GREAT!!! He's an odd guy but he had a great gym!!!

  4. That's why I couldn't stand working out in a gym. It was so annoying and distracting. Now I do it at home or just hit the streets for a nice long, brisk walk.

  5. I'm another one you won't find at the gym. If I need exercise I'll start walking. I need to start juggling more too--that's good exercise.

  6. Well they have to be able to brag about something, "I can do a whole entire push up all by myself, without breaking a sweat". Maybe they had their sweat glands removed, perhaps the odor they emitted was toxic?

  7. Funny! I don't like gyms. I spend too much time people watching and too little time exercising.

  9. I'm normally the only person at the gym lol, so weird. I love working up a sweat though, when I'm on the treadmill, I always pretend I'm on a mission to save the world, and if I don't get my broken bruised body to wherever it is I'm going, everyone will die!

  10. I love people watching at the gym, especially those nasty looking buff dudes. They are too funny!

  11. I don't go to a gym but I can just imagine what you are talking about. I bet they go home at the end of their "workout" and brag about it too

  12. I'm also too self conscious to workout in public. I prefer huffing and puffing in the privacy of my own home. Walks are good too.

  13. Thanks for the comments on the Workout Imposter. I only have a treadmill at home, but took advantage of a gym club special and well they have other equipment besides the treadmill. I am so self conscience which is why I forced a friend to go with. I honestly didn't think it would feel so country club tho.
